On March 28th, 2009, Brita gave away the equivalent of one Brita pitcher EVERY SECOND during Earth Hour in downtown Toronto. See this day come to life, and hear from Canadians about why reducing their environmental impact is important to them. Switching from bottled water to Brita filtered water in a refillable bottle allows Canadians to go green and to save green its an easy way to reduce environmental impact and save money. One Brita filter can effectively replace as many as 300 standard 500mL water bottles. FilterForGood is a campaign Brita started in 2008 that encourages Canadians to reduce bottled water waste. At FilterForGood.ca, Canadians can learn more about the negative impacts of bottled water waste and take a pledge to reduce their consumption of bottled water. Since FilterForGood first launched in 2008, thousands of Canadians have already pledged to reduce their bottled water intake by more than an estimated 12.5 million bottles and counting. Learn more, and take the pledge, at www.filterforgood.ca
