The 3M Filtrete Water Pitcher is the fastest way I have ever found to filter water. The water is filtered at almost the speed of the water coming full bore out of my tap. Now it may seem odd that I find this to be a key feature, but for many uses it is very handy to have the water filtered quickly - such as - When I make the morning coffee. Typically, I was to impatient to filter water so I used water straight from the tap.... not anymore! - We used filtered water for our animals. We found out that chlorinated water makes our dog's eye water continuously. Before we had the Filtrete we would fill up our dog bowls using water from the filter on our fridge - this worked but it took over 5 minutes to fill up the reservoir for the bowl/ Now that we have the Filtrete by 3M these tasks are a snap! Other notes - - Never had any issues with leaks - in fact, the top fits onto the pitcher perfectly - Replacement filters are not inexpensive - however, I think they are still a relative value once you figure that they can filter 100 gallons of water - The pitcher is a bit of an oddball shape. While it does give the pitcher a bit of a modern look it may take take up a little unnecessary space in your fridge. Final Verdict - We are very happy with the Filtrete Water Pitcher - in less than a week we are starting to wonder how we were able to function without it! 4 1/2 stars
